"Coming to the Stage, LIFE!" This is my daily mantra, a powerful affirmation I speak into existence as I, a Black woman, rise to face the world each day. In the tapestry of my life, woven with threads of resilience, service, and unwavering faith, the name "LIFE" resonates with profound significance. It's more than just a nickname; it's a testament to the challenges I've overcome and the unwavering spirit that propels me forward. God christened me with this name, reminding me to live boldly, "Living in Front of Everything, With No Fear."
From my roots in Lewisville, Arkansas, to my triumphs in the corporate world and my unwavering commitment to community service, every step of my journey has been guided by this powerful principle. As a single mother, a survivor of breast cancer, and the founder of a nonprofit that has touched countless lives, I've learned to embrace life's challenges with courage and grace. The name "LIFE" serves as a constant reminder that even in the face of adversity, I am called to live fully, fearlessly, and with an unwavering commitment to making a positive impact on the world.
It is this fearless spirit that has allowed me to build a nonprofit organization that has uplifted over 88,000 individuals across multiple states. It is this spirit that propelled me through my battle with cancer during a global pandemic and inspired me to share my story on a national platform. And it is this spirit that continues to drive me to empower others, to speak my truth through poetry and motivational speaking, and to live a life that honors the profound meaning behind the name I carry. I embrace the name "LIFE" with every fiber of my being. It reminds me to step onto every stage, face every challenge, and live my truth with unwavering courage and a heart full of hope.
